‘Yoga for Dementia’ - Grant awarded 28/06/2021

We are pleased to confirm that we have received funding from a Local Care Direct grant from One Community Foundation.

This project will provide yoga sessions to people living with dementia in Kirklees, as well as to their carers. The yoga sessions will be carefully tailored to suit the participants, offering both a challenge and a much needed space to relax physically and mentally. We are currently seeking partner organisations to deliver these sessions. Please do get in touch if you would like to know more.

We are delighted to confirm that we have received funding from the The National Lottery Awards for All England.  This will fund yoga sessions for groups and organisations that support people with additional needs.  We plan to continue our work with The Basement Project (addiction recovery), Women Centre (support for mental health and trauma), Support 2 Recovery, and Connect Day Services (supporting adults with LD).

‘Yoga for Long COVID’ - Grant awarded 01/06/2021

We have received funding for Kirklees Council under the "Do Something Now" grant scheme.  This will allow us to continue our work with people with Long COVID, and evaluate the effectiveness of movement and breathing interventions in people who are suffering with the longer term physical, mental and emotional impacts of COVID.
